Maggie, the Nurse Practitioner, is a wonderful medical provider. I recently saw her for mysterious sinus troubles. She knows my history, as I have seen her for a few other significant things over the past 20 years. She takes the time to listen, ask questions, provide pertinent information and potential solutions. It's become too common for many providers to rush through their assembly line of patients and not fully listen to them. Thankfully, Maggie is not one of them. By far the smoothest, fastest, least stressful surgery Ibrahim had to date, and I've been under regularly. I had an endoscopy (round 2) at McLaren and it went so smooth i was honestly surprised. I'm a little drug up poat surgery atm, so take this with a grain of salt. No joke one of the better procedures I've had done. McLaren staff did well today, I'd recommend, but your mileage may vary. I had a colonoscopy last year and had to wait 48hrs to eat at the same place, but this review is for the doc not the hospital 🤣. Will update if i run into complications. What an amazing office!! I was almost a half hour late, and the receptionist was very polite and friendly (instead of the normal redress you get, when you're even a little late). I would highly recommend Dr. Obermyer. I went to him over a small mass in my neck. We talked about what it could be and scheduled surgery to remove it. He didn’t pressure me to do the surgery what so ever but I’m glad I did. I got the mass removed and it ended up being a lipoma, but the morning before surgery he came in and seen me and joked around a little making me a lot less nervous. Very good at what he does. He was referred to Dr. Borders to see if she would be able to help with the severe tinnitus he was suffering. Dr. Borders is an extremely wonderful doctor.
